First, cellulite is a collection of fat, stored toxins, and water that are trapped under your skin. It is a result of your system being clogged up and not detoxifying properly. Exercise alone will not get rid of those annoying little puckered bumps…you must “Eat Right to Melt Cellulite”! So, let’s get those trapped fat cells out of your body now! Make simple changes in your diet and you will have healthier hair, skin, and nails!
Get Hydrated. The biggest contributing factor to cellulite after toxicity is lack of proper hydration. Your body is not getting enough fluids to flush out toxins. Drink warm water with lemon and cayenne pepper first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, as this stimulates your liver (your main detoxifying organ). Aim for drinking at least 8 glasses of fresh water every day to reduce cellulite. Also, coconut water is excellent after a workout, as it is a more natural way to replenish electrolytes. Also, if you drink coffee or caffeinated tea, make sure to drink water afterwards because caffeine dehydrates the body.
Limit Alcohol: I know you love your cocktails, but alcohol is a toxin, and if you want less fat and smoother skin, then make sure you keep count (1) of your martinis! The liver has to work extremely hard to excrete alcohol from your system, and cellulite is your reminder of the “too much fun” you had last night!
Ditch Processed Foods and Food Additives. Most everything that comes in a wrapper is toxic for your body. Eat as fresh as possible. Your skin is a reflection of the food you put into your body. Every fork-full and spoon-full is used as fuel or stored as fat! Food Coloring, Preservatives, Emulsifiers and everything that has the word “Artificial” will build a bumpy fat cell!
